Hello, I am a visual artist & have moved once again from Penticton B.C. to the outskirts of Vancouver to Pitt Meadows.
For the past thirty years I have been painting in between the ups and downs of various careers, family and friends & moves.
When describing my personality I prefer the word eccentric. I cry over any hint of a Cinderella-like story & am very much a romantic old soul.
My paintings I am told are visual stories, which must come from my family and a long line of story-tellers. To create these stories, the juxtaposition of opposing elements are used in the way of light, temperature, shape and texture.
Goals: To paint from the heart, travel, and to get back to the sea. My husband & I once lived in a cottage on Gordon's beach in Sooke named "Tigh Beau Na Mara" (Little Cottage by the Sea) The ocean was our backyard with boats, sea life and crashing waves.
